Lighthaven Photography is FULL TIME (for the past year, surprise!)

“Mom, Best Job Ever” is what you see on my shirt, while also featuring my camera!

I had my friend Elsa snap these back in March when we were doing a little mama photo swap, thinking soon after I’d post them and it never happened.

However, I took them to share that I went ✨FULL TIME✨ photographer (and mama) in December of 2022. A whole year later, and I am super thankful for all the support and business I have received in the past year without you even knowing this was officially my full time gig!

Although I had practically been operating a full time photography business for almost 4 years before going officially full time, I was also a full time activities director at a fantastic retirement community. Being an activities director was such a rewarding, blessing of a career and there are so many parts of it that I am grateful for and will always miss. I have so much love for the residents and coworkers who so many are like family. Shoutout to you guys!
But, this change was for my growing family and flourishing business! I got the blessing of not only being a stay at home mom with this change, but also the chance to really dive in and make this business an exponentially better experience for all the clients I serve. There has been so much chance for growth and updates to my creative experience since the change!

As I am now going into year 2 of being full time, I am excited for all the new & old faces I will capture, and all the fun ideas and things I have to come for this business and passion of mine.

Looking back on the past year, although I of course miss my coworkers, this change has been great for my family and my motherhood journey to an almost one year old, as well as it’s given me a chance to give more time to all of you – with lots of weddings, families, newborns, seniors, mini sessions and more.
